There is a whole range of different berries: Strawberries, blueberries, loganberries, currants, gooseberries, raspberries, loganberries, bilberries... Berries are a good source of dietary fiber, minerals and are loaded with Vitamin C which we need for our immune system and for strong connective tissue.
Especially the purple berries: Blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are rich in antioxidants that can help prevent cancer and heart disease.
Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products called "free radicals" that can lead to age-related diseases.
My Tip: I usually mix some berries in my brekky muesli or fruit smoothie. Get a pack of frozen berries if you can't afford the fresh ones.
